ABOUT
An actor and creative, Paula is a multidisciplinary artist and UX designer who enjoys everything about the arts and a good cup of tea. Originally from Mexico City, Paula is fluent in Spanish and English.
She earned her degree in Drama from the University of California, Irvine and Folsom Lake College. Her love for the classics and language pushed her to continue her training abroad at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, where she specialized in Classical Acting. There, she earned valuable training in the Shakespearean, Chekov, and Meisner, acting methods, as well as stage combat, movement, voice, and ensemble work.
Paula approaches her craft holistically. She likes to learn about everything there is to put together a play or a film. Thus, Paula is experienced in various technical and creative fields, including costume construction and design, construction, stage management, editing, writing, light design and electrics, and some business aspects.
When she isn't onstage, she enjoys dancing, drawing, reading, and up-cycling clothes. Currently, she is an avid music listener and concert go-er. Her favorite artists include David Bowie and Coldplay, but she'll admit that she is a huge K-pop fan with Stray Kids and ATEEZ on repeat.
